Of course this is assuming the holder is all the way in. You wouldn't happen to have a crank scraper, would you?__________________

car is always in a locked garage so i know no one cut my dipstick
and like i said no motor problems what so ever, i even let it idle in my garage for about 5 mins listening for anything out of the ordinary and it sounded perfect

I would just add a quart or two and see what happens. Are you checking while it's hot, warm, or cold? How long after the motor is shut off are you checking it?__________________

checked cold and warm
i already put two quarts in and it still reads dry, if it somehow does still have all the oil in it i dont want to overfill it and damage something.. i checked about 30 seconds after the motor was off, 5 mins after the motor was off, and just after putting in the new oil, and there wasnt any sign of oil on the stick

There is a plug on the bottom of the motor that allows you to drain oil if you overfill. :P__________________

suiox city is a bit more then 30 mins from norfolk
but i live about an hour from norfolk near bloomfield
i know i cant be leaking, but i'll drain it anyway in a bit and see how much i have.. i just dont understand how i could supposedly have no oil, but have perfect pressure, no motor problems, and even have vtec engageing
