Lots of people wanted to see some pics.. so here they are..

the car is sitting in my garage undergoing a rather large transformation. Basically a Built engine will be going in, along with a new turbo setup.




This sucked ***, when we put it on the trailer the ------- front lip ripped off, (not as if the front end was mint anyways, lol)



Crackage...



8 cracks total, all on the inner sides of the cylinders. Even the headgasket broke in a bunch of spots. I honestly think that some of the cracks happened over awhile, I dont think all 8 cracks happend on that one 4th gear pull on the freeway. It was 12psi and a long long pull with a LS tranny over 130mph racing a street bike.

When I get back from Vaca, I'm doing a big *** ebay sale...

I'm bringing the block down to GE this week, should be nice when its all done, 84mm B18b 2.0l

Damn, that's a lot of crackage. Like you said, I couldn't see all that happening all at once either. If so, wow.

i can see how they all happened at once. One cracks and the shock of it rippled down to all the sleeves because they are a one piece sleeve not 4 individual ones.

 

is this the car you just finished building a while ago? the one that you block posted?
