Default a few questions!?!?

hey, i am new to this board, and new to boosting hondas.. here are my specs before i get to the questions.. I have a 89 crx with a b16 swap, garrett t3 turbo (saab) using only the oil cooling, saab blackstone smic, PVC charge pipe(poopy i know) stock 1g dsm bov, timing retarded 6 degrees and an safc. questions start with: 1. if i boost more than 2 pounds, my car runs like total ---- unless i turn it off and back on again??!? any suggestions? 2. i was sitting at a car wash with my car idleing, and it started smoking.. i popped the hood and there was oil splattered on the block (coming from turbo for sure now) do i need to rebuild it? or any suggestions?? on to the 3rd question: what is the best safc settings to use? mine right now are at idle +5 and above go from 3000 = +15 all the way to 7k @ +26. any help would be greatly appreciated. -Daniel

Oh ---- man, are you boosting using an AFC with stock injectors?? STOP right where you're at!! No more boost for you. You'll be lucky if you didn't fry your pistons by now.

You need larger injectors. Holy ----.

If you aren't running a missing link you are throwing a CEL and in limp mode. That's why you have to turn it off and back on again. Your timing is way too far retarded.

Well, you don't use the missing link if you are using 450cc injectors with the AFC. You had the opposite effect going which would result in the MAP letting the ECU see positive pressure, which would trigger a CEL.

Advance your timing about 4 degrees so it will be only 2 degrees retarded.

When you get the injectors in, set the AFC to negative 35 across the entire range. I suggest you take it somewhere to get it tuned.

The wideband oxygen sensor gives you an accurate estimate of how rich/lean you're running in your mixture. Vital information to run an engine properly.
