Yeah your correct stock Mod Motor Blocks are good up to 1500hp!!!!!! 5.0 blocks usually split @ around 500rwhp. the Mod Motors are reinforced very well basically has 4bolt mains and cross bolted from the side also and the crank sits fairly high inside the block. My friend has a 4.6 DOHC Forged Rods, Pistons, and Crank stock heads cams intake and even a stock throttle body with twin 57mm turbo's and it made 751rwhp and 768ft/lbs @20psi. That is just incredible for stock heads intake and cams The Ford modular motors are slowly gaining some serious respect and showing how well designed they really are

Hey does anyone have any input on which brand and sizing would be best for my application i want room to grow with whatever BOV and Wastegate i purchase. How many mm wastegate should i purchase and what brands are the best and what brands should i stay away from. Ive been leaning toward Tial if i could find them for the right price

Awesome project That is gonna be a monster. What all is involved in swapping in a Mod motor into the foxbody chassis? For wastegate and blow off valve i would go with Tial 50mm blow off valve for sure and maybe go for a bigger gate like the 44mm or 46mm as it should be able to control it down the road as well when you go to bigger turbo etc.Keep the updates coming i cant wait to see how this comes out.

All u need to do the swap is the front K-member out of a 96-04 Mustang V-6,GT,or Cobra (they are all the same), use the fox body A-arms and 94-04 Spindles that allow you to convert to 5lug and slide on rotors and dual piston calipers apposed to rotors with bearings and seals in them that are 4lug pattern single piston caliper
As far as ECU goes iam getting a MegaSquirt instead of messing with the OBD2 computer with PATS (passive anti-theft sysytem) which requires getting new keys programed before the car will start. So you suggest 50mm blow off valve and 46mm wastegate? What power levels and boost levels are those good to? thanks for the advice and complements

Nice work on the dyeing it came out great. As far as HP rating it depends on turbo sizing, boost levels etc but those sizes should work well for you i would think.

You can also check out the HKS GT wastegates. It has a 60mm diameter valve and can handle 600 to 1000 HP. The new HKS GT 11 wastegate comes with either a 50mm or 60mm stainless steel valve. Spring ranges from 8.5psi, 11.6psi, 29.0psi and 29.9psi.
