Whats going on fellow forcer inductioners!! Well ill be boosting my 95 accord, and I would like to share my build. Im doing a HMT setup and not looking to spend more than $1500. My power gains are about 250hp to 280 hp not much because I will be boosting on stock internal.

For $60 I will sell you my Wally 190. I need to upgrade to a Wally 255 for my new HP goals. I used it for about 2 months.

You need a wideband not just a A/F gauge, and a boost controller.

If you are putting your fuel pressure gauge in the car make sure its a electronic one not a mechanical.

You will need to ditch the Skunk2 chip and have you a chip made and have the car tuned.

rayray3k 04-24-2011 12:43 AM

Well I a new pump is only 90 bucks with an accord kit.

I do have a boost controller, but I didn't know I would need one since I'm running 11 psi.

My fuel pressure gauge is liquid filled. An electric one is nice but to pricey.

Well the skunk 2 is blank. Has no uploaded map on to it.

Thanks for ur reply.

How would u install a wide band? Can you tap the original o2 sensor?

WORPeclipse 04-24-2011 01:48 PM

no you have to get a wide band gauge and wide band o2. Stock ones are narrow band. I over looked the 11psi spring. You may not need one as long as the spring is accurate. Since you are using the mechanical one dont put it in the cabin of the car.

rayray3k 04-25-2011 12:05 AM

Oh I see, ill get one. I use to have on on my Eagle talon. Well too late lol the fuel pressue is already in. But there is no fuel streaming through the car. It is isolate in the enging bay

WORPeclipse 04-25-2011 09:19 PM

if the gauge is under the hood your ok.

here are some pics of the saab 50 trim, wich is going to be made into a 60 trim next week, and my tail wastegate. Ill have more pics up soon of the mani and down pipe. Those parts are currently being powder coated and polished.

rayray3k 04-28-2011 01:44 PM

Also I will does anyone know the if GLow shift gauges are worth buying?? Thinking about switching because the autometer ones look to vintagey in my opinion.

WORPeclipse 04-28-2011 10:13 PM

not at all. There are a few other companies that sell gauges too. I have a Garrett T3 60trim .60AR comp and .63turbine for sale fresh rebuild for $125 plush shipping. Can prob make all or most of you money back selling that one.

There is also a guy on another forum I am on that has a Delta cam for sale for a f22 if your interested.

Check out these gauges. http://www.hondamarketplace.com/show....php?t=2895941

rayray3k 04-28-2011 11:02 PM

That turbo sound like a deal but I'm stickin with this one because it has a .48 hot side. I'm looking for early boost, and I bought the 60 trim wheel already, but I might swoop that delta cam up! I like buying things when there already made lol

WORPeclipse 04-28-2011 11:05 PM

Man I just sold a .60/.48 60 trim. Sold it for $50 needed rebuilt. I could have put the .48 turbine on it for you. It originally was but I got the .63 turbo just for the housing to swap in place of the .48 cause I couldnt hit my 350whp goal. swapped it out and sold the one needing rebuilt. the .48 was topping me out at about 275.

rayray3k 04-28-2011 11:12 PM

Ya that's the hp I'm looking for, but I don't mind rebuilding turbos. Its like a puzzle lol but I'm gana go for more hp soon once I get my loan for a new civic si lol

rayray3k 04-28-2011 11:14 PM

Well the turbo I have is a .42/.48, but the the tb03 turbos have interchangable compressor wheels.

rayray3k 04-28-2011 11:15 PM

How much money have put into ur motor so far? Its looking like a gold mine lol

WORPeclipse 04-28-2011 11:59 PM

I dont have a clue. Here is the price break down on the whole build as I can think of it.

Moroso oil pan $300, pistons and rods BNIB $465 shipped, mini ram $100, misc hoses and fittings $100, B20 tb $20, ACL race bearings and Cometic HG $120, Tial WG $70, $100 for head (mine had burnt and bent valves), ACT Xtreme clutch kit $100, z6 crank puller $25, MagneCore plug wires $50, NGK Race plugs $15, Complete gasket set $100, Bosch 600cc inj $50, B&M AFPR $15, -6AN fuel line and fittings $50, Fuel pressure gauge and fitting $40, Aluminum radiator $30, catch can setup $30, Holset H1c turbo $25, Greddy knock off BOV $25, Moates Ostrich 2.0 $110, Moates Xtreme Hulog $30, Moates Burn1 $40, Innovate LC-1 w/XD16 gauge $200, HKS EVC-S (new style) $50, Power steering delete $50, JIC FLT-A1 full coil overs $400, B&M Pro shifter & Neuspeed camber kit $125, LCA's & Energy suspension bushings $40, HX wheels $150, Precision Turbo FMIC $50, GM 3bar map $25, thats all I can think of right now. That comes to a total of $3080. SSSHHHHHH DONT tell me wife. I only gave $1500 for the car.

Now I dont have that out of pocket. I have traded for some of that and I have sold some of the stuff I had on to begin with to make up some of my costs.

rayray3k 04-29-2011 12:06 AM

Wow lol just to think if you would have bought most those parts for retail, your looking at a price tag of around 5000 lol

WORPeclipse 04-29-2011 12:11 AM

Yeah I know. I like finding deals. Dont forget I have done all the work including the machine work, setting PTW clearance, filing rings, lapping valves, surfacing head an block, setting bearing tolerances, cleaning everything, building the most of my mani, all my own welding.

The suspension alone it $1600 retail and the piston rod combo are $750. The fmic is $350 and turbo is between $400 and $1200. I priced a valve job here and they wanted $485.

rayray3k 04-29-2011 07:33 PM

wow thats great shoppin lol well i got my manifold today, bolted up the wastegate and turbo...now its a waiting game for my intercooler, which ima buy my next check.

I will be doing a test fit this weekend, and will post up more pics. The turbo is a Garrett TB03 with a 60 trim wheel.

Also just ordered a custom 5 bolt dp for the turbo so i can drive it to the tune shop.

ceej4 05-14-2011 10:37 PM

Any updates? I'll be boosting my F22 this summer as well.

rayray3k 05-16-2011 08:53 PM

yes sorry been super busy with work. But I just recently had to purchase a new turbo, accidently dropped my turbo during the rebuild. And I destroyed the compressor wheel, does anyone know if I can use a turbo with a couple broken compressor fins??

rayray3k 05-16-2011 08:54 PM

I also just purchased a treadstone intercooler. The build is taking longer because I'm going with more expensive parts.

Yeah I would advise against using that compressor with bent fins since now they'll be off balance. Turbos spin extremely fast and when you have something spinning so fast and it's off balance, well imagine a fan missing a blade, but spinning 100 times faster. That's your turbo. New wheel should do you well.

I'm looking at getting a treadstone intercooler as well. Nothing wrong with buying quality parts, just make sure they're quality and not just more expensive.

rayray3k 07-24-2011 08:16 PM

Finally new update lol just got in the intercooler! And now I just needa order my piping kit! Than boom done! Total cost 965 buks for my home made kit! Just at 150 for the tune!

ceej4 10-16-2011 09:59 PM

Waking this thread up from its coma. Any updates? What software are you gonna use? Neptune, Crome, something crazy? Lol. I kinda stepped away from a turbo build but got but by the bug again recently so I'm parts hunting now.
