Default F22b DOHC in accord

i have a 90 accord with an f22b, h22 tranny, im using a 14b, with manifold, dsm injector, and fuel pump (255), now i just want to know if i can run the turbo without water cool, and also how many pounds can the motor take, im actually done with this project but i havent turned it on yet, im using an SAFC with integra LS ecu, will it handle fine?.
and its funny cuz i saw this setup done. in hondatunning mag. not the same turbo but same motor boosted.
so if (BambooSeven) you read this tuner toys told me to find u and talk to you about this setup.

haha thats my car in the mag. i think you should stickto your stock ecu instead of the ls one if your going to be using the hack. i tried the ls ecu and it was worth crap. i would chip the ls ecu and run uberdata on it. if your gona be runing the hack, dont go over 7psi. 10 on uberdata.

oh ---- nice! hey well im gonna be using the SAFC if thats what you mean by hack.
and well the ls ecu felt better before i put the turbo in, i liked it cuz it revs up to 7200 rpm and it just felt better like if it had better timing curve, but i dont know. we'll see.
so is 10psi max that the motor can hold with a 14b. ?
also will the supra twin turbo fuel pump will it fit the accord. i got it from a friend.

the f22a ecu from the stock accord will run a different fuel curve(richer) and a slightly more retarded timing map. The ls is basically a destroked F22B, you might need to add some more fuel in when in stock form, but the timing map is more accurate. Compression is 9.2:1 on the f22b, so run whatever boost at your own risk.

where is your motor $650? I got mine for $750... Yeah they are pretty cheap. Next summer I am gonna buy a spare block and build it up then switch the head and turbo over. Rev limit.... I don't think your gonna want to take it to redline with a turbo, you will be out of powerband and basically losing power. You need to dyno to see where your peak hp/tq are and determine where your best shift point is from there. So if you start losing power from 6000 up, you don't want to shift at 7000, rather at like 6500 so then you will drop back into your powerband. But to answer your question, I THINK it is 6800, not positive, but I think that is where its at. Let me know how the turbo goes, I am about to turbo mine.

In addition, it depends on the size of the turbo
