Well an F series is probably better with boost than a D series but in a civic? Not really sure how the F is going to fit in there lol. And you have to worry about your weight displacement because I can garuntee the F series engine is heavier than the D series.

if you arelooking to do f-series get a f22b dohc. they have a bit more power than the sohc and are pretty cheap.

---- that f22b dohc ----... to much money for what it is
f22a6... out of the sohc fs it has the best flowing head...and a plethora of cam options should you feel the need down the road. If you want dohc, stick a h23-22 head on it. STILL be cheaper than buying the f22 dohc . Personally id just boost the sohc. I loved mine... It would have been unruly in a hatch.

just go with the d-series it already has one in there so you dont have to worry about switching everthing over like mounts hubs axles convert to shift cables. all that ---- is a pain in the *** for too little reward
