Default a/f meter not working

My a/f meter is not working at least i dont think it is. could it be because i dont have a cat? it seems to work sometimes and somtimes its not just stuck on lean, luckly my car is not turbo yet, but trying to fix all the little stuff before i put the turbo on. i checked all wires everything is hooked up one wire to the 02 senor.

check you connections. And as far as the a/f is concerned Ive had a couple of shops tell me they are the top reasons for blown up engines (f/i) . Due to the fact the only read like 13.5 to 15.5. thats a pretty limited range. BUt something is better that nothing.

it could be because your o2 is going that hapened to my friend so when i hucked it up it didnt work to well and i told him to get a o2 and then it worked fine most of the time it because of the o2 so change it or try the a/f on a frends car and see what gos on
