Default exhaust question

i made my down downpipe out of 2.5 inch exhaust pipeing i have a invidia cat-back exhaust the problem is i dont have a flange to fit the stock honda cat. anyone know where to get a flange at or so i go with a universal cat? please help i go for tuning this weekend

take that cat out. run your downpipe all the way to your catback.

exhaust shop wont do that plus i need a flange to even begin to attach this exhaust

no one know where to find a 2.5 inch flange 2 bolt pattern?

Soooooooooo your exhaust shop doesn't have the standard 2bolt and spring flange, huh? They suck dude. Cut it off (the flange) and weld new flanges on that work or just cut and weld the nukka together.

no he says he usually swells the pipe and welds it together but i need to be able to take the downpipe off to work on the car anyone got ANY ideas or solutions to this i need to get it to the shop. What about a 2.5 universal cat?

Test pipe? Get a different flange. Like just forget the 2 bolt/spring one and cut those off and get different ones the exhaust man has ya know? Be aware and make metion if you go this route that it need not leak and require gaskets. That would be a gay hassle to change alllllll the time. Soooooo how about like a beveled and cupped set up? like a flared pipe bolted to a rounded pipe. Know what I mean?
