Hey guys, i have 2.25 in exhaust right now, and i wanted to run a 3 inch dp from my turbo. I was wondering if i would get any power loss if i run a 3 inch exhaust cutout before reaching the 2.25? i know there will be tons of back pressure with the 2.25

Cut outs with turbos will help it spool up quicker, so it will help you out. I have a 2 1/2 down pipe with a manual cut out in the down pipe and 2 1/2 exhaust. Spools up quick and loud when i want it, and its nice and quiet when i need it.

 

You need to tune with the cutout open

 

i have my car tuned with a 2.5 inch dp and 2.5 inch cutout. i was wondering if i can keep my 2.25 exhaust and runa 3 inch dp without much problems, just late spool and power loss
