Default exhaust manifold question

im debating making my own manifold the only piping i can get around here with ordewring is round, on my d series they are oval openings , i can get manifold flanges with both round and ovel openings , would you recomend going the extra step to get the oval , just go with the round , or beat the round into an oval shape

i used the round 1 1/2" weld Els, then i used a dye grinder and ported it out a little so it would flow better fro mthe oval to the round, works great for me and 1000's of others.
