I agree with you jeff.. they usually make them way too heavy. But when your ride already weighs 4000 pounds, who cares?

If I were to do a custom setup on a honda, I would most likely follow your lead.

But as I said, I've seen quite a few v8 setups with schedule 40.

Yeah, I can send it back. I bought it from JEG's. I think I am going to keep it to practice on since it was cheap enought. They were $12 a piece and it would cost me ~$10 to ship it back so I am just going to keep it.

I think I am going to go with the McMasters fittings as they are very resonalbly priced. Thanks to all for all of the tips.

LoveFab makes there mani's from the tubing you can buy from Kteller.com. We have used some of the Ktell tubing for WG dumps and ----.. I just ordered a bunch or U's from ubendman on ebay..i figured what the hell, and those are thicker than the kteller, maybe u wana shoot him an email. His tubing is what my next mani will be made of.

If you want to practive, pick up some scrap exhausts at a muffler shop for free.

Thats what all the other fab. companys use also, Lovafab, Full-race, Spoolin performance, ......... If you look at the thickness on there site its not even a 1/16" thicker, why not have the added insurance, esp. when you have a garuntee for life on stuff that i make. :P

So my McMaster elbows came today. I think they are going to fit the bill nicely. They appear to be cast, can anyone confirm this?

As for the JEG's mandrell, They are going to be put to good use making a super duper top secret intake mani. More details on that later...

I think you would have a pretty difficult time welding cast. Nickel rods are expensive and it takes some skill as a welder to do that kinda work.
