evo 8 intercooler....
Just wondering if anyone is using one of these intercoolers, and if so, what fitment issues have you had. I'm assuming that part of the bumper support may have to be removed, but would like to talk to someone that has used one.
Thanks

It's probably not much different than using a Starion IC, but I beleive the Evo8's are larger. So, yes some modification to the bumper support/bumper cover will more than likely be necessary. Why? did you manage to get your hands on an Evolution IC? They are probably pretty pricey if your looking to buy one.

Maybe I missed it, but what car are you talking about? isnt that kind of vauge asking how a intercooler will fit without knowing what car its going to go in?
Wait, thats right HMT is just about hondas and hondas only
Evo8 Ic mounted in a 67 Chev Pick up, fits like a champ.

Sorry, hadn't even thought about it...duh. Ok, going into an 95 civic EX. I've pretty much decided to just go with a smic, as it'll be a buttload cheaper, and I can always upgrade later anyhow. Besides at 8psi I can't justify spending that much for a huge fmic.

Johnny racecar IC's and Custom coach IC's fit great in hondas and are priced decently. I dont think I'd go with a sidemount especially since IC's are so cheap nowadays. As far as the Evo8 IC in the civic, its definatly gonna be a hack fest
