Everything was fine, now smoke and low boost

My dad gave me my 2006 997 turbo for my high school graduation last year and now there's a problem. I was racing my friend in his 97 Supra turbo last week and now I have low boost and a scratchy sound coming from what appears to be the turbo. Can anyone suggest how to fix this?

By the way, that Supra is fast. The Powerhouse Turbo kit and 720cc injectors blew my stock 911 away and I know how to drive.

Please help. I don't want to have to admit to my dad that I caused any damage.

Seriously, I've had this car for a few months and have only had body damage issues that are cheap enough to just put on my dad's credit card. Do I have anything to worry about with the low boost and slightly smokey exhaust? I'll just try driving it hard to blow the carbon out. Maybe it'll go away.

more boost!!!!

The only problem that can't be solved with more boost is traction problems. With a rear engine I know you won't have that problem

If he got the car from a dealer and it's within mileage it's a CPO car.

997's aren't known for reliability , just chaulk it up to a defect.

and seriously, you are just out of highschool and your very expensive technologically advanced car is blowing smoke..what would you like the members of HMT to do? We use JB weld and flux core welders, we don't buy fast cars.....we build em.

Everyone always hates me because of my good looks, good grades, abundant poon and weed selections, fancy car, etc. I finally have a real problem and all you basement dwelling, snot nosed, 82 honda civic owning, know-it-all freaks can only offer useless guidance. If you have any time after your nose is finished parting your mom's inner labia on your way up to suckle her droopy cans for dinner, please feel free to offer some real advice. I got real problems here.

The problem is people that own expensive cars that Daddy gave them don't own up to responsibility.

If you DO actually own this car and your story actually happened then I suggest doing some goddamn research. If you were are stock boost levels, then I would take it to the dealership and have them fix it out of their pocket.

However, I still think this story is BS, so disregard my advice and take a step a back and literally ---- yourself.
