one more thing on megasquirt.. Go to the yahoo group and download the megasquirt software.. "free" .. Looking over the screens you will get a good feel for its potential.. It can be adjusted on the fly, and save to rom while driving. this is great for tweaking your system. Building and installing this unit will require alot of reading but I never built a pc board before and mine works perfectly.

That looks like a pretty cool device, although limited on when you can get the thing. Does anyone get a bunch of kits, assemble them and resell them?

I think that Split Second has something similar available to run secondary injectors, in relation to boost.

The group purchase thing is a slow process. However they did several hundred on the last group buy. I have not heard of anyone building them for resale. You might get someone to part with their version 1 system who has just built a version 2. There were a few changes in the hardware / software "non boost map was used, "2 bar map sensor was a mod on version one.. so you would need this mod for turbo.. Many people did the mod to use ver 1 on turbo setups.. Worth a shot.

Re:Electronic Fuel Management neccessary?

looks like the device from split second will help out if you wish to keep your stock ecu. and just wish to add more fuel on boost. Some high end aftermarket ecu's have a higher resolution in the ve table "this is best for high end race apps", e.t.c. Megasquirt is more of a middle of the road device "its ve table is limited to 8bit resolution" . You really needs to decide what your goals are before you decide on any of these units.. The engineering of a custom turbo kit requires alot of thought and planning. Dont rush it, dont waste money on stuff you dont need. engine management is the most important part "read all you can" :D
