Default electric superchagrer that works

http://www.b2g5.com/boards/board.cgi?user=boosthead

"This electric supercharger draws 15,000 watts from two or more car batteries. Similar to nitrous - but charge it at home for pennies a day.

Patent pending design offers full boost in less than 1/2 second. Flows up to 405 CFM @ 5.5 PSI (the smaller the engine, the more boost you will make)

My '96 Dodge Avenger 2.5 V6 Automatic made 119 wheel HP completely stock. Adding the TKTurbo electric supercharger, air filter, and exhaust raised the output to 220 wheel HP @ 6 PSI."

No this thing is totally different

It weighs 45lbs

And it was made by a guy in the custom turbo business for 25 years in miami

Will make the industry different.

For the money he is charging for that you could get some real fuel management and a sweet turbo setup. It's just more over priced crap that nobody needs.

ok so instead of losing a couple of hp to a belt drive setup, let's add 150lbs of batteries and s/c and just use electric motors to turn it....

that much money would get a built motor and sweet turbo kit (wish i had that much to spend)

High output D.C moters do put aout some MAD Torque(to force air in rapidly)BUT COME THE ---- ON!!What your talking about is pretty much an industrial water pump! I hook those things up at work all the time, and yess it has crossed my mind what if I could put a small one in a car BUT THE WIIGHT IS INSANE!The torque you would make would be spent trying to lug batteries and that ------- water pump around.
If you need two batteries to run that thing your talkin groughly 150-200 amps of power.Thats a big draw!!The batteries probly last about 15 mins or so.

This thread sucks. The day someone builds an electric turbo that actually produces more power without the need of a trailer to carry the extra 5000 pounds of garbage is the day I ---- Christina Agulara. This will be a monumental day and will be celebrated with cheering and lots of beer drinking followed by a spectacular display of mind-boggling fire works. The grand finale will be a gigantic nuclear bomb that transfoms the planet Earth into a small pile of meteors that will eventually orbit the moon. Hey, it could happen.
