Default efficiency of HF manifold?

i was just wondering how efficient a hf manifold will be under high boost..i know it is cast so it would be pretty sturdy...i have one on my d16 right now and just worried if i get boost crazy and turn it up..i'm running a t3 right now....

im pretty positive that it wont shatter under high boost.

just use it, itll be fine . I have one on my car on 12psi. its not much but breaking the manifold is the LEAST of my worries.

It's not that it will break, but it just wont flow as well as a nice tubular.

yeah, your right. I would think a nice tubular mani would flow much better. But the hf really isnt that bad.

you could probably clean the ports out some. HF's are for the budget racers lol, like me

I donno you would have to do some major porting to make it flow decent for high hp,

whats the highest hp you have seen using the HF?

from a flow pov
the HF should feed a turbo better than a log mani, especially if ported out b/c it has better transitions. (Tho, custom logs can be fab'd to accept A/C, P/S and such.)
However, the HF will never be as good as a 'ram horn' style mani.
IMO.

you can get the flange for w/e turbo u like..just weld that piece on to the hf, and make sure u thread the holes so u can bolt it on.
