I hope that was not directed at me. I'm not the one willing to waste money on a cdm turbo. You can get a Hx-35 for under $300 in great shape and it will last a really long time.

Well what do you expect? Are you looking for someone to chime in about how truly wonderful and potent the turbo is ? I can't see that happening. I can't believe Blaast didn't say anything but to steer clear of that thing. I have firsthand experience un------- people's cars who've gone with a CDM turbo, and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. One of them disintegrated a compressor wheel and causes a nearly blown motor and the other exploded and caused a huge mess of oil and metal in the intake and exhaust. I mean they list the compressor as a .60 and the turbine wheel as a .63 a/r? That's not even close to anything that exists.

You get what you pay for every damn time, and no matter how they fancy it up that turbo is made with sub-par materials and without proper design, development, or assembly. Not to mention you can get a very decent Garrett for $300 if you look around, so just go with that rather than play Russian Roulette. I realize you're sensitive to constructive feedback that's not positive, but I'm not talking ----; just letting you know what to expect. If you get a good one they can last for awhile, but never as long as a genuine turbo and good luck trying to repair it. I figured people would have put the Chinese turbo industry out of business by now, but it seems that the lure of saving a few bucks is stronger than obtaining quality parts.

thanks.

we both know how these type of threads turn out on here and i dont want that.
blaast said it looked good but also that the specs are messed up. i emailed them asking for better measurement.

find me quality turbo that can do 450 and have room for improvment for 300 and ill buy it right now.

there is also an he351 that i would much rather get over this but who knows how high the price will go up on it.

Good sized comp wheel. Should be able to do 450+ without too much effort.
