I was looking on ebay and there is a guy that is selling his home made ram horn manifolds ac/ps compaitble, they are made out of 54W Mild Steel and hes after $229 for them.

Has anyone every used this manifold or basically do you think i should go for it or not?

Looks like a mig welded piece of ----.

 

How many passes did he do per weld? 10 or 11?

 

so whats the big deal if he did 10 or more passes with the welder atleast it wont fall apart like an ssautoshit and its pretty cheap for a ramhorn

 

Def not pretty but looks solid.I would run it.

lol, everyone has there shitty days. I do. Mine was yesterday! haha, i couldnt weld for ---- on tig until it was about time to leave.

 

I wouldn't care cause I would just wrap it with some heatwrap

Not really. If he can't get the heat he needs in 1-2 passes, 10 passes is just adding on top, not giving anymore penatration. ESPECIALLY with mig.

And by the looks of the welds, he didn't get the heat!!!!
