i would say its a good deal, i bought ebay p29's for my d16z6 and i had a high compression build and they were fine but i wouldnt suggest running alot of boost or nitrous, ive seen cases of ebay pistons on nitrous and it looks like they just melted

yeah, im not trying to melt any pistons. i was planning on pushing 8 lbs with a 16g an an ls. but i can get my block bored out .20 over (81.5mm) for $60, and any arias or weisco pistons cost like $400 a set. if anyone has used these, or has anymore insight, its appereciated. also, might seem like a silly question to some people, but are OEM honduh piston rings steel?
Thanks.
Thanks.

It says the manufacturer is NPR, has anyone used them before?
Also, if I use these pistons, am i going to have to get my crank rebalanced to compensate for the different mass?

the problem with a lot of metal things on eBay is that the metals used aren't manufactured the way the high quality stuff is usually, so they're not good under high pressure instances. which is why you hear of eBay turbos blowing up and whatnot. if i was to ever buy anything going inside my engine, i'd never go eBay. i wouldn't trust something so important to something so unreliable.
it'll cost a lot more to get a new block then it will to get quality pistons.
