Ebay manifolds good or bad?
Hello,
I'm looking for manifold for my 1993 del sol si with d16z6, I found these manifolds on ebay:

Has anybody used these ebay manifolds? are they good or bad? Can I use 14b turbine with this mani?

The first manifold you posted is better than the second because it's a cast design that won't break. The problem with it though is the fact that the wastegate is placed on one runner, which is an inefficient design that can cause boost creep.
The second mani is absolute crap. Do a seach for SSAutochrome, it's the same prone-to-cracking piece of ---- manifold you see all over ebay.

i agree with jago....the cast is a better setup since it wont crack but that wastegate position is just like the Drag mani which is known to creep....
try and find a revhard one cast and better wastegate placement. There have been a few floating around this site for cheaper than what that ebay one is going for....or hit up CC-Fab.net

I have a buddy running a complete SSA setup on his GSR 'teg... it's been on for a month running 6psi with no problems. He did however reinforce the manifold and get everything professionally installed. I'll keep everyone updated when it breaks.

DO NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! REPEAT DO NOT BUY THE CAST! ok ill tell you my story, i bought that manifold off some asshat from hmt, the f*cking thing was too long, i took out my ac fan and still it wont fit. Dont buy it be warn

yeah no go on that cast piece, that thing will creep like crazy. You want to get a mani that has the wastegate port in a central location where the gasses from all the runners can vent.
Or you can buy a DIY manifold kit from tuner toys, or just get a STD/hf or smililar
