Well I've got the trans out and I'm waiting on my clutch and I need to get a transmission. Going to the pick and pull tomorrow to hopefully find an EX trans, if not a DX will suffice.

Anyway heres some updates:

Part of my oil line from my T's to the turbo. Going to braze the banjo fitting to the end of the oil line.

Manifold so far. Made a flange for the turbo, which still needs some excess cut off. Going to make a small adapter from exhaust pipe to get rid of the 90 degree subie cast inlet.

No Trans!

Garage carnage. The trans on the left is blown and the trans on the right is the cx. going to use the blown one for core at the pick and pull.

Going tommorow, to the pick and pull, wish me luck!

This is a sweet project. I wish I could find something like that for cheap.

nothing like the local pick and pull
you should rip off the head, check what the internals look like and replace the timing belt
and while your at it you might as well get some arp head studs

id say simplest
this one flows way better and is also very easy to make
plus cheap weldable pluming pipe

Yeah I thought about doing a manifold like that, but cheap price and low difficulty of the log and black iron pipe fittings won me over.

Update, I got a y8 trans with some high mileage. While I was there, I pulled another scooby turbo, from a legacy. This one has the bigger exhaust housing, and wheel and is pretty tight. Plus I have the downpipe flange and O2 bung and the inlet flange from the car with it. I'm going to be using this turbo now.

Anyone want an RHB5? lol
