Does it amtter where you locate the dump valve? I ma making a custom tmic intercooler for a fast response car. I ma using a sti top mount intercooler and have welded the flange for the dumpvalve on the same side tank that turbo blows into. I think it will still work but cant test yet as i ma waiting on silicaon hoses. It should still work as compressed air look for the place that it can expand to normal atmosphere the quikest.

If I read this corectly that your blow off valve is on the intercooler tank that the turbo feeds into then yes that will work great, better then what most people run.
