dual DSM BOV on a high boost setup?

sup nigs? I plan on boosting ~ 20 psi w/ a T3/T04E 57 trim 63/60 in the new few weeks, and I've been thinking about a BOV setup since that's the only thing i'm missing along with charge pipes.. instead of spending a good bit on a tial bov that is capable of releasing high amounts of air quickly, why not run 2x DSM BOV? has anyone tried this before?

why stop there, try running 4.

i'm pretty sure if you ran a dsm blow off at 20 psi it would leak, thats why people crush them so they can handle more boost.

I believe 2 bov would still see 20+ psi....Not sure it would be divided by 2 if that is what you are getting at. Imagine if you are underwater and there is 1000psi on the submarine...If you have a hatch that is rated at 500psi, it will blow, if you have 2, it will still fail..you need one that is 1000psi..right??? yea I am pretty sure I am right... :y

I have two DSM BOV's because I'm planning on doing this and while it holds 20psi+ it also makes them open slower. Anyway it seems simple enough, and I'm willing to try whenever I get a turbo capable of high boost.

That does make sense, never thought about that...I guess it would vent twice the amount of air to help avoid compressor surge, ect. btw, good site^^^^lots of good usable info that is applies to many configurations.

Just crush the DSM BOVs and run 2 of them. If you crush them thy will hold more boost. If you run two they will evacuate a lot more air. Plus two DSM BOV's are cheaper than 1 Tial or something.

I can tell you that 2 DSMs, one on each side of the intercooler under the headlights with the outlets pointing forward (away from tire sludge) sounds tits.
