for about a 1000 more, he could have gotten a b16 swap done, if he knew how to shop.

I might actually go with a similiar setup, free dsm mani and going to see how much a local wants for his turbo td04l, maybe try a 16g if theres one for cheap. Something with low boost and a small *** snail that won't hurt my new stock clutch too quickly. (There was no way out of that. )
