DSM t25 turbo on a 99 Civic
I was looking at a t25 turbo for my D16Y8 and noticed that in todd's project he has no a/c condenser. Is it mandatory that the a/c be taken out to make way for the turbo? Is there any way that you can modify the intake to make it out of the way. my goal is to keep my car as streetable as possible. plus theres nothing wrong with my a/c!

lets get this straight. I'm not about to take out my a/c and devalue the car because of a turbo kit. If the value would stay the same by taking the a/c out I would do it in a heartbeat.
for the DSM t25 isn't there only one turbo manifold for it, or possibly two from what i've read? I could fabricate my own but it would take way too long.

I understand that a turbo would devalue the car as well, but i look at it as more work. I appreciate the info though. I talked to a few friends at my class tonight and they told me a few pointers as well. I'd call this case solved. im sure when im done with my install i'll be posting some more.

If you are worried about the value of your car....dont turbo it.
Im sure a blown block will be great for the value of your car. Modified wiring and computer/ fuel components which u will have to remove.....and have fun replacing your oil pan....The AC takes 30min to remove. Just charge it when u re-install it.

I guess when you put it in those terms...it seems simple. I already took an a/c class and i'm certified. for whatever it's worth, maybe thats why I appreciate it a little more than other people.
