Dsm injector question

Default Dsm injector question

hey guys, i recently got my turbo on, but when i installed the new dsm injectors the mitsu orings didnt fit in my fuel rail so put the honda ones on them but i think it might be a small leak. What did you guys do?

My cousin just pressed them in on his Accord... but you really should bore it out so they fit in snugly.

I did the same thing never had a problem, I think he might be talking about the top ones though. I use the hondas and never had a leak, did you get new ones?

Put some oil on the o-rings and twist them whenever you are installing them. In other words, install them like you're installing a screw.

Oh, oops.

What I did was the DSM's didnt have any on them, Chris bought some cheapy replacements and they sucked so I burned them and grabbed the stock seals off of his accord injectors. Be real careful like with them, they seemed like they'd tear easy. I threw them on the DSM's and they fit fine

ill try new dsm's with oil and see... you guys ever have a problem with your stock fuel pump keepin up with the 450s? maybe mines just tired, cause i got a hesitation above 4500 rpm and me and my tuner think its fuel related

Check the obvious.. fuel filter, fpr, clean your injectors etc. Heck, if you have a lot of miles it might not be a bad idea to get a new fuel pump.

well im puttin i a walbro in and its a new filter so i might bump up the fuel pressure too
