DSM 450cc injectors leaking.
Hey there everyone, so I finally got my downpipe made today and got everything installed and so I'm cranking the engine after everything is setup and two of the injectors are leaking between the blue plastic and the body of the injector. I'm just wondering what the hell is going on! I have never had a problem like this before with any type of injector. Also, if it turns out the injectors are bad, My basemap is setup for 450cc injectors, however, I also have access to some RX-7 460cc injectors. Would my car function right if I were to put those in instead of the 450's? even when my basemap is designed for 450cc?
TIA.
TIA.

I will pull the injectors out tomorrow and give them a good look before going any further....I must say, a boosted honda feels pretty good, even with a basemap. I swear to god though, cops can smell the boost...

Re: DSM 450cc injectors leaking.
Hotrex, you are a pimp! I owe you 10 bucks, let me donate it to the website tho, ok? I took out the injectors and it turns out the old seals on the injectors were very dry and no longer serving their purpose. They had expended and hardened. I took the seals off of my old injectors and put them on the dsm's and oh baby not a leak since. Completely solid. I'm running a spring that actuates my wastegate right now...its a very nifty design that I read about on one of Jason's write ups awhile back. Rock solid at 6 psi untill I can get it fully tuned over in tacoma. This basemap that Kevin made for my specific setup is working out really nice though. Running a little on the rich side without a ping! The first couple of times I hit the engagement point for the shift light I got a little scared when the check engine light came on :P but then I remembered that it was just another badass feature that Uberdata has. I have a fluctuating idle a little bit when it is cold, but it quickly goes away after it reaches the right temp and holy crap these injectors are so noisy! *click click click* I wonder if anyone makes a silent injector?
