Drilling oil pan.

Drilling oil pan.
I have a d16a6 crx, and an extra oil pan I plan to drill for the oil return line.
I would like to mock up the turbo install to get the location of the hole, then drill the extra pan to help lessen downtime.
My question:
Since I am not actually dropping the pan until after I install the drilled pan, I can't see whats behind the potential hole. Is there any place 'off-limits' where I shouldn't drill? Is there any rotating bottom end parts that I could interfere with?
Thanks

Re:Drilling oil pan.
you will mock the setup up, mark the oil pan where you want the hole.. drop the pan and look where it goes, sometimes if its to low, it will hit this little baffle inside the pan, you want to stay above it.

Re:Drilling oil pan.
Your lucky day.
I happen to be pulling my oil pan. Here is the "front side" where your oil fitting will go..
Here is the inside "front side" where your fitting will go is at the bottom of the picture..
Hope this helps you out.. Need more pics of the pan, just drop a note on this thread.

Re:Drilling oil pan.
Go to www.Turbocivic.net click on New installation main page, then click on Assembly instructions and scroll down to oil pan return fitting, he has some good picture of how he did it as well as step by step directions on his install, including lots of pictures of each step.
Hope this helps

check out http://coolazz.tripod.com/turbo.html, they have instructions on a complete turbo set up, including oil pan drilling, I hope that helps.
