what im actually going to do is get a BIG U pipe that i made my intercooler piping out of... cut it all and make a down pipe that will fit. Then lable the order they go in and tape them together, and take it to a muffler shop and have it welded. That a good idea? or is the chance of it getting messed up to great? thanks for all the replys guys

tape the pipe together exactly how it fits.. than take the PIPE in a different car to the shop.
not drive the car with tape on it for a down pipe. haha sorry for not specifing

i drove me turbo charade to the muffler shop bout 20 k's away from me with no downpipe
fukin loud as hell and was worried that itd catch fire..
didnt luckily

Charade? Is that a Daihatsu? Weren't they turbo from the factory? Got any more details or pix?

Damn old post, but yip. this was a GTti.. 1l 3cylnder turbo. Damn quick casrs. My mate runs 13 FLAT in his at 16psi with a few mods
