The piston will make the engine sound like a diesel... no matter what P2W clearance you use..
In my Y7 i had .006 P2W clearance and never had a single problem with blow by or Compression lost in over 2 years of daily driving.

If you are aiming for 350+whp then you should atleast put it to .004 P2W

I am wondering the same thing, does the slap make the pistons lose life? also, fjt, has anyone installed the i beams for a d series to know for sure if there is no notching required? just curious thanks
