:1. Most people think the vitaras have hight compression then they do. They are super low in just about every d-series motor you put it in, but there ever lower in the DOHC zc. How much money you have to spend it what you will go with!!! DO NOT use the vitaras with a stock rod length rod in the DOHC; Only use it with the NEW FJT longer rod!!!

I just went through this
My pistons are custome made for me by JE
good price $540 with rings and pins and all
Vitaras worked out to be in the low 7:1 range and where no good.
Z6 Hogh compresion pistons (10.3:1)or so worked out to be 9.3:1 or somthing like that in our engines
The only way to go is call JE and have a special set made. Je was the cheapest, everyone else wanted 750-1100 for the set.
