8.5:1 is too low dont you get it, i dont want compression to be that low

order the longer rods from fjt.... thats what i did. im still waiting for them....I BEAMS FTW

there have been so many people that have made 300-400hp at the wheels on vitaras/eagles.. search around noob. if your so ---- about compression, go get some forged pistons!!!!!!!!

I don't know if they are the same as the ODBO1, but I have a set of brand new Black-top Zc pistons (nippon) that are one sive overbore with rings that I will sell you for $85. I also have the stock browntop ZC pistons and rods (the ones that the books say are the strongest D rods) that I would sell with new rings for $125 or best offer. Let me know. I might even have a set of clevite rod bearings I would throw in for another $12.00. Prices are not shipped, but I think I can get them into a USPS standard rate box and get them to you for less than $15.00. I make no promises thou. I have two complete zc motors (one black, one brown) if you need any parts. Thank you

Aight listen to thiis someone on d-series.org told me that if i put 8.5:1 vitara's in my obd1 dohc zc that my compression wouldnt even be near 8.5:1 it would be way lower

You don't need to reference d-series.org.

I would go with better pistons before lowering the cr (that low) to accomodate more boost.
