It does look like some kinda Tuesdo/OBX/SS manifold.They are all poorly constructed but it may hold up fine.If it is cheap enough run it and see how it goes.If it cracks then it won't come as a shock.These days log manifolds are so cheap due to the market being saturated I would just spend the 2-250 to get a real manifold that will be trouble free.

 

Its put together with ducktape and bubble gum. You put that on your car and I promise with in 500miles you will have to stop and back track to find your turbo because it fell off.

Or maybe it will last forever.

I dunno...it is pretty cheap. I might run it just to see how it does. Then again, I may not. Im not sure yet.

 

hmm, i just say you get it and try it. I had a ssautoshit mani for a h22 hacked up to ---- to fit my engine and it NEVER gave me crap. And i had it on there for quite a while with alot of abuse everyday.

 

Yea I might do that but I think this is a real Tsudo...they have good reviews on their other stuff so hopefully this is good too. I have heard tons of horror stories about SSASHIT mani's cracking but this isn't SSAC, HOPEFULLY, it's a little better welds. Doesn't the SSAC crack b/c it's different kinds of metal welded together?

 

The main issue is the material is to thin and once ot gets hot it cant support any weight of it.There is more reasons but that being the main one.

 

Good luck with that, they have the worst customer service, and if it was their product, hed probably say it wasnt because he wanted to make a sale. They know people asking if a product is "theirs" its not because its a good thing people want to buy. Just a heads up. The problem with all the chinese manifolds is the people who sell them are in it for every buck they cant and really dont care what their customers get. Lots of big companies like greddy etc outsource to china but they make sure they use good materials because they have a reputation to uphold. They save their $ on the labor. SSAC and the like could provide a descent product if they forked up another $20.00 for better stainless, thicker gauge material and an experienced welder doing the work (not an 11 year old boy). Just insight for people who are curious. Its up to you to make an informed decision.

 

Tsudo doesn't make ---- of their own. These are the manifold catagories. Fit it into one.


Cheap OBX ---- that ANY COMPANY can buy and say is theirs. (same as the pictures you posted)
Custom made manifolds usually not made until you order.
Cast manifolds made either here or china (not sure) but they tend to be good quality.

 

It is very oberivous that it is a china manifold and again you will have to trust me on this one
Look at the aluminum can pressed gasket and the grade negative 10 alumin bolts

SS nor OBX are the manufactory, they are just buying stuff and re-sell them. there`s like 9650119519874 other ppl are buying the manifolds from this 908743987 factory in china.

 

yea you guys are probably right....I think really hard about doing stuff before I do it and that's why I haven't ordered it yet. I'll probably end up getting CC-FAB to just make me a log mani. It's the same price and his come with a lifetime warranty against cracking. Thanks for helping me out in my decision. May have saved me lots of money...but I guess we'll never actually know lol.
