plan is over 200hp about 8-10 psi on a b16.
dont really have a budget. willing to spend the money on a tial but if the other brands will be fine, its always nice to save money or put that money towards another part.

200hp? You could do that with an internal wastegate.
My purple 38mm tial copy works great. If you get a copy open it and make sure the diaphragm isn't pinched, then tighten the bolts. Mine were not all tight.
Put your money in good clutch, head studs, and fuel mgmt.

why take a chance with a ching cheow meow wastegate that puts your engine at risk? stick to the internal that has oem reliability or shell out the money for a tial, hks, etc. i could understand using a china bov but not a wastegate

Its also a good idea to disassemble a CDM wastegate and make sure that the correct spring is in there. I bought one from ssac supposedly with a 3.6psi spring, I opened it up and there was a 15psi spring in there
I emailed thier customer service and was sent a 3.6 and a 5.x psi spring.
