Since the beginning of my research into ECU Modification, I've come across some "shocking" information.
Most of these chips that are out there are bunk. "Mugen" spec, and so on, chip are nothing more than a hacked stock rom. Yes, they may increase fuel, and ignition curves, but they are not specific to you car.
They're tuned for the car that they ran on.
Do NOT buy chips like that. Not only could they damage your ECU, they can potentially serverly damage your engine.
