Dodge Ram Turbo?
Ive got my friend curious about turbocharging his 97 Dodge Ram pickupr. He is amazing considering he only has one hand!( due to a misfortunate accident). He moonlights as a mech after his day job. He told me he has been having a hard time finding resources to tune his project. Has anyone had exp. with boostingthis V8 gasoline engine.

1997 is not that old, now is it? A new pickup is definately not in his budget, so we make the best of what we have. That is unless there is a significant obstacle that can not be overcome, manufacturer defect, or major concerns with internals.

Re: Dodge Ram Turbo?
STS makes a remote mount kit I believe. That or buy some shorty headers, run two pipes over to a flange in front of the motor and mount a big ------- fat turbo.Add oil lines I think you can usually tap oil from the sender on the side of the block plum the return to the pan or timing chain cover up,order a giant SSautochrome intercooler, buy some mandrel bends to make charge piping with and then add managment of your choice.Im not sure what you can do with a Dodge of that vintage. Is it TBI or multiport?
