I agree that the water cooled ones dont need as much time to cool down. But doesn't letting them cool down extra time help preserve the life of the turbo?

not really alls u have to do is sit there and wait for the car to cool down, and u dont have to do it everytime u drive, only wen u drive it real hard. its really a waste, it jus looks cool

I always try to drive easy when I get close to where I'm going. I would say if you have the water section of the turbo hooked up you're alot safer, but I hate water cooled turbos. :P

woah alotta opinions..

now like i said...

i already have a blitz dtt dc II turbo timer / boost gauge so its either sell it or keep it..

as for upgrading.. im not sure that is that close in the future.. cause i already got alot into the kit i peiced together.. and the 14b will be more then enough boost for me.. *i say that now i know*
but 200 hp civic is fast enough for the street.. go much more past that and it wont even be controllable lol

what would be a good turbo to upgrade to? t3?? what a/r ??

sorry to get ot but.. what are the a/r's on a 14b? i know they are good for d's thats why i went with it..but i dont know the numbers on it..

anyway i guess ill just use it since i got it.. and help the turbo out a lil..

now for the wiring.. who knows what color the ignition wires are on a 95 civic dx..

i found this for a 99si but nothing for a 95.. .are they the same.. i havent tried to install it yet.. or else id know already.. just seeing if neone knows for sure before i even get under there..

Red (constant 12v) wire => Thick *** white wire
Blue (accessory) wire => White with black stripe
Green (ignition) wire => Black with yellow stripe
Black (ground) wires => Grounded
Purple wire => Parking brake

and also how should i tap into them the 1 wire that goes to the ebrake.. came with a quick splice clip thing.. shoiuld i get some of thos for the other wires 2? i dont want to chop the ignition wires to much u know

If you got one already, that's great, keep it.

Careful, those colors worked for me. HOWEVER, many others have it set up to where the BLUE ---> goes to the SOLID YELLOW WIRE.

So do some researching and figure one which one to use.

you needs one only if you LOVED to drive it hard then shut it right off..

what i do, drive it easy for like the last half mile, then shut it right off just like a regular car.
turbo timers are OVER RATED

same as you don`t see F40 Nor 911 turbo has one.
but in my frineds turbo MR2, there Is a note on the sunvise that said make sure engine must be running for at least XX second befoe shutting off after raping...
