Default Do I need my radiator fan???

Ok I know i need a fan to keep everything runnig cool....in the summer. Well its pretty cold down here for the time being so Im thinking about pulling the fan. Ill get a pusher soon but w/ the fan gone I can get my turbo on sooner. The cold side of the turbo is rubbing the fan shroud so I need it gone. Things would be so much easier with a FAL fan . Wish I had cash. I also going to put in a new lower temp thermostat in. NE one using a pusher fan or no fan out there. What size pusher can/should I use. Thanx

yes you need a rad. fan i've had them stop working on me and if you sit still to long your car will start to over heat if you don't run one you are takin the chance of over heating your engine but hey its up to u

I don't run one in my truck. It hits the upper radiator hose and rubs through every week or so. It starts to get hot after about 10 minutes of sitting still. I just turn the heater on and roast my *** off for a few minutes to prevent it from overheating. If you care about your car, you will keep the fan.

When I hit those rediculous California traffic jams it gets real shitty. I have to leave the heater full blast the entire time and it still runs hotter than it should. One of these days I'll throw an electric fan on it.

mesure the dimentions of your radiator then goto autozone/pepboys/advanced auto and pickup a fan that is near that size

Just convert your puller fan into a pusher fan and then mount it on the front of the radiator.
