Do i need a fuel pressure regulator/gauge
Im running a stock d16y8 and looking for about 200whp. I just want to know if i need a fuel pressure regulator and gauge and if they are "should have" or a "need to have" for my turbo setup. Thanks in advance.

ok well i'll stay away from it then because i am going to be tuning with hondata. What about a fuel pressure gauge i have looked around and some people have said that they help with tuning, is that true?

a fuel pressure gauge is a good thing to have because it allows you to monitor your fuel pressure under boost. if you see your fuel pressue going down under full boost then you know you will need a stronger pump or your fuel pump/filter has failed. if you monitor fuel pressure you can prevent running lean from a fuel pump failure or a clogged fuel filter. your tuner will use air fuel ratio to tune, not fuel pressure.

ok, ya i know that they use an AFR gauge to tune i just heard that having the fuel pressure gauge helps. I have a AEM wideband so i'm good to go for that. I think i'll go with the gauge and leave out the regulator thanks for the advice

40 psi is all a honda needs for fuel pressure. therefore a regulator is a waste of time unless your going to boost past 12 psi or so. gauge is good to have but remember. the more ---- you and the more things go wrong. i had a gauge and kept leaking so i took the ---- off. truth is the gauge is more of a diagnostic tool when ---- goes wrong. chances are you wont notice a problem until its too late. you already have boost prob oil pressure, water temp, bunch of crap. too much headache.
