Default DIY downpipe materials

I would like to know what pipes I need to make a 2.5" a/c compatable downpipe for my rev hard cast mani. I searched but only found stuff for set-ups with the compressor on the driver's side (for the a/c compatability I would need to have the compressor on the passenger's side, right?). Also, what size flange do I need to buy to attach to the end that hooks up to the cat?

i believe that the basic chevy flanges they sell on the racks at your local napa work as far as the flange, and look into jc whitney for a mandrel U bend.

The main factor in order to keep your a/c is the manifold itself. If the turbo sits to low in the car, it won't allow the a/c compressor to fit, and if the turbo sits to far to the front of the car, you might not be able to fit the condenser, fan and gas lines for the ac, depending on the year of car you have.

As far as flanges, you can check the for sale section for flanges and also u-bends.
I got my first flanges from BMC racing, he sells or used to sell here, the second setup I got my pipes and flanges from ebay.

you probably need 1 ubend and some straight pieces.

I am also using a 6" flex piece.
