there any problems using a divided inlet holset on a normal manifold :1 :1 :1 does it eff up the flow or anything

 

ur talking like a twin scroll Hx35 or something? Ive seen HX35's on non divided manifolds it works.

 

its a h1c, older version of the hx35, pretty sure hx35s are not divided

 

They are, fyi the hx-35 is the size of a 1 gallon water bottle.

I like to grind the splitter into a nice knife edge when bolting a twin scroll turbo to a undivided manifold. I am sure twin scroll still has some positive effect even when used that way.

 

Are you going to use the holsets wastegate flapper or an external? If you are going to use the internal flapper you will need to grind the scroll divider up past where the gate outlet is in the scroll. Otherwise you will have some nasty boost creep.
If you are running an external I would just bolt it on and go.

 

I bolted mine on and went (hx-35). Seems to work fine, finally started driving it for the past week

 

what kind of spool characteristics would a divided flange manifold have on said turbo over the "notrmal" mani ?

 

anyone have any idea on this ?
