Re:Dilemma
Ahh it's definately a DOHC mate
and all my mates use microtech and reccommend it.. i'm not sure how to go about chipping right now. here's my engine bay as it currently stands... got a good ol' american filter on it hahahttps://www.angelfire.com/rebellion/spudcannon/dohc.jpg |
Re:Dilemma
Clean looking car man.
I would chip your own ECU over running that microtech (which I have no clue what it is). How much money you looking to invest in the microtech thing? Weigh out your options, might be cheaper to chip your setup.. it's not that hard. I now understand about you not wanting to ---- your motor up, but picking up a spare can't ever hurt. |
Re:Dilemma
Ahh i'm gonna stick with the microtech, it's a stand alone ECU thats exclusive to Australia, and used in quite a few race cars we have down here. Fully programmable. I bought it already for like 25% of it's original price. This unit costs well in excess of $2200 AUD and i got all that gear i posted above for $1500 AUD so i got a bargain. |
Re:Dilemma
Hey if it works out for you man, go for it. I just don't know how much support their is for it.. I need to look into it to see what it's all about.
