Re: Digi-Key 2.5 bar map sensor
To add some more usefull information here....
I used turboedit ng55 and currently ng60 for 2.5bar maps. I used Xenocrons basemapper with a .75 tipin adjust thingy. Ive got it mounted in the engine bay, has survived rain driving and 90+ weather so far... i e-taped the crap outta it. Its working perfectly like oem... ive run 8 - 10 - 13psi on it so far without issue. As far as installation... i went to radioshack and got some parts for serial cables, little wire terminal ends that go into a serial plug... then soldered 6inches of wire to 3 of them. Then pushed one over its terminal on the sensor... and taped it. Repeat 3x... then taped the crap outta the sensor. Then on the other end of the wires i put a 4 wire trailer hitch plug ... the other side of that plug i spliced into the stock map harness wires... this way i can go back to stock whenever i need/want to. Boom... works. |
Re: Digi-Key 2.5 bar map sensor
Do any of you have a collection of circuits for this map sensor.
Had found this really cool circuit where the guy had hooked up a Digital Boost gauge using just 3 components. A really trick circuit. But now I cant seem to find it. If you guys have some links to DIY circuits with this map sensor pls post up. |
