The main discussion in this thread is traction. In a NA car that has 200HP the HP is available much earlier which in turn creates more wheel spin and loss of power up top. A turbocharged car is a lot more adept to racing because of its lack of torque at low rpm which cuts out wheel spin and makes more usable power in the actual race. Damn this is going to be a long reply. In a NA car the HP and TQ curve are more linear than in a forced induction car. In a turbocharged car the real power kicks in usually around 3500 (give or take some depending on car and turbo). When racing most of the time the car is in the turbos most efficient range (3500 and up) so its in its top power level. In a NA car it may be a better daily driver because of its torque at lower rpms but torque means very little when racing. Unless of course you drive an older domestic that needs the torque to take of with its heavier wheight. Damn this topic could write a novel :-\.
