Hey guys, I am kinda new to the turbo scene. I bought a turbo from a guy who had the setup on his 95 Civic Ex. He told me that it is an aftermarket turbo made for a 4 cyl mustang. It is a Garret T3 the ar is .60. He didn't know any of the specs on it. When I try to find the specs on the internet, the only Garret T3 that I find that has an ar of .60 are stock Ford turbos. He swore to me that it wasn't a junkyard turbo. TIA

 

post a pic most of the guys on here can name a turbo just by looking at it - cuz sometimes it says the specs on the turbo itself-

but yeah look in the exhaust inlet and compressor inlet for a number that says the ar, if you didnt know this

i thought the lx was 5.0? oh well i couldnt care less about gay *** mustangs unless its turbo or a new svt cobra or maybe the new supercharged ones with like 400 or 500 horses?

 

Why the ---- do import guys (not alot of you guys) bash mustangs? My stock fox can easily beat a turbo'd 4.Don't mean to be an -------, but this erollin guy is a ------- douche bag.

 

Wait, so the guy said it was off a Ford Mustang, then you search and find out it came off a Ford. What is wrong with that? Isn't it possible a stock Ford turbo came off a Mustang. Anyway, a 60 trim T3 is sweet.

 

I am not saying that I am suprised to find that it came off of a Ford. But he told me it was an aftermarket turbo, not a stock turbo. But ar size I can only match up with a Garret stock turbo and not an aftermarket one.

 

Turbo GT in 85 and the SVO in 86,87,88 maybe more. 2.3L 4cylinders that would keep up with the 5.0 GT of the day.
