well it does that when i rev it... idk how it works at full boost... but either way, it should still be blowing off. if theres enough to cause compressor surge, then theres damn well enough to open a bov... im gunna go play around with the spring a little. any before anyone askes, yes, there is a good source or vac.
actually it doesn't take much to get compressor surge, i get it when i park into a parking space barely pressing the throttle. i don't know why people don't like it, i actually think it sounds kind of cool, plus the turbo silvias in the best motoring videos don't have bov's it seems like.
You should probably try actually boosting before you start adjusting ---- because your BOV isn't sounding at idle.

its not that its not sounding, so i wanna mess with stuff. i didnt expect it to sound at idle at all... its just im worried that its surging... id rather have the bov open a little to vent that pressure out instead if it backtracking though the compressor.

what boost level are you running, if you don't want more boost I guess you can either cut the spring, or get a blow off valve made for lower boost.
