Default deciding on size and trim

what turbo and what trim would i need for a 3.8l engine that redlines at 6000rpm (tho it makes most power between 2500-5000rpm)
and it's automatic
i will be doing some reading but being as im thinking about mounting it "sts" style is there any compensation needed for the longer charge pipes and such
so should i run a bit to big of a turbo or a bit small?
the car is stock 205hp 230ft-lbs (about 160whp and 190wft-lbs im looking for 230-280whp witch i think would be about 310-330ft-lbs)
i don't know how much boost i should run but i was thinking about starting at 5psi and going to 8psi if needed

being as i am trying to turbo this car for on the cheap would this ebay ching chong meow meow
t04e suffice?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/T3-T4...mZ320297155799
it says it supports up to 350whp and 30psi of boost so i figure 230-280whp should not be to difficult with this size turbo?

i know you guys don't like cdm turbo's but i figured i could do that to cheaply start boosting and then when i need more than 5-6psi get a good turbo
i think i have pretty moderate power goals on the zzp website they say that 450crank hp on a stock l36 with their $2700 bolt on "kit" is nothing
i just don't want to spend $2700 on a turbo for a car i paid $700 for
i think if i could keep to total price of the car and turbo tune and everything under $1500 i would be happy

5-6 psi is never enough... buy the right stuff the first time i thought the same thing about the low boost, somehow it made its way up into the 20's and somehow i got really good at walking :1

i would but im not a big fan of superchargers plus it's a pushrod engine so tonnes of torque on bottom and mlid power on top
a supercharger will just magnafy that (witch would be bad it already spins the tires on dry pavement at 15-20mph and 40-45mph in the rain, a supercharger with 5psi at 1500rpm i i would just spin but if i didn't hit full boost until about 1800-2000rpm i would already be moving and not have quite the traction issues i may be wrong but either way i want a turbo not supercharger tho i am thinking about going with gtp or dsm injectors because they stockers are only like 23# (i think thats like 380cc)
