Debating on a set of turbos going from single to twin.

Im going to be changing from one single turbo to a twin setup this winter. Before anyone says its pointless just get one big one the reason Im doing itbecause you just simply don't see it. I found a set of turbos from a local z club the are off a RB26 he said the are t28s. Now I was looking for T25s but I was reading that some of the R34 turbos were ball bearing if they are I would deffinatley go with the T28s. Does anyone know what turbos were what and specs for the turbos on what RB motors? Here is a pic of my current setup in my 1991 Maxima. (No my maf sensor is not there any more that was just to drive it home with no boost and stock injectors from my shop.)

UHHHHHHH, you don't see boosted Maxima's PERIOD, at least not around here, so I don't see why you're worried about that. If I'm not mistaken the bb t25/28 are HKS models and if that's the case you're probaly gonna pay a fuckton for them. It also looks like you have a pretty crowded engine bay as it is....another turbo is probaly just gonna make it more so...

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2218904/2 Just go there alot of it needs to be updated badly. Ive already got it space out how it will fit. Basically turning the turbos sideways from what they are so downpipw will be towards intake then go down where the existing is now. Allready held two in there in place.

How does the car motorvate with just the one turbo?? What are the specs on it?? I honestly understand you wanting to be different and all, but for pure brutality I feel like one big turbo would be the way to go. You could put all the time and money that'll go into fabricating the twin set-up into building a stout ass engine and crank up tha boost lika grown man should....20psi+.....

And btw, that's a nice car...One of my good friends had one of those cars back in high school...it was only slightly modded, but was one of hell of a fun car...Did all tha cars of THAT generation come with that engine?? VG30 right??

Its a ebay cheapy .63 hot .50 cold. 20psi is not a problem now. Vg30E are very strong motors check out vg30et.com some guys putting out 450+ hp on stock motor. Right now I have a nice turbonetics with .63 hot belive .70 for the cold. But if I do the T28 .64 hot so total of 1.28 and cold would be total of .84 now tell me cranking up the boost on those won't be fun.

www.dynamicturbo.com They sell HKS gt bb series turbos. That is what was on the RB engines I saw at this past years Datsun/Nissan/Infiniti shootout. Go there and look how ridiculously expensive they are. I'd just get one of the big MasterPower's they sell instead.

Those turbos are nothing but fail. Also there is no realy point in doing the 2 turbos when one big one will do the trick.

I have ran the nissan t25 on a 1.6 zc vtec. It would die off after what felt like 6k. Also for the life of me I could not keep one together for more then a few K miles, they seem to like less then 5-9 psi. Even with the smallest size oil restricker I could run it would still blow out the oil seals. 6 t25 later + a home rebuilt one I called it quits. If you use 2 of them you not only going to waste your time/ money, but you will be piss with the end results.
