Dear God, make the smoking stop (Updated)

Put on my kit two weeks ago. It's been smoking the whole time. When i'm not on the throttle or coming to a stop it lets out big puffs of smoke. Idling and full throttle nothing though. On the highway at half throttle there is so much oil being eaten by my engine it starts to bog and if I don't boost the motor starts to cut out. Thought it was my oil return so I made it nice and direct to my pan. Did that today then went for a nice long drive, smoking like a chimney when I got back. It's a stealthmode kit. I know people put these on without using an oil restrictor valve, how is mine any different. Please someone give me the answer so I can make the smoking stop!! :'( D15b7 with a 48/60 T3.

My motor was perfect before the turbo was on, never smoked once. I've only had it at 5 psi, it is not my motor. It doesn't smoke when its cold because the oil pressure is high. It's the turbo. I just don't know why this is happening to me, it seems like people put on more ghetto kits that mine all the time and theirs don't burn oil. >:(

Ohh don't worry too much, it's just prolly your turbo with bad seal. LOL na that's one possibility, check return line too see if its kinked, check ic pipes too see if theres oil in it.

Oh yeah there is oil in IC pipes, oil return is nice and straight though I don't know what's wrong with it, the turbo is rebuilt and has absolutely no shaftplay.

sounds like a bad rebuild....slap a restrictor on and see if it helps

That would be the only thing that comes to mind too. Especially if there's oil in your charge pipes. :-\

I'm holding one in my hand, I'm putting it on next week, if it doesn't work I guess the turbo is going to need a rebuild? I don't really have money for that so looks like I'll be driving it until it really takes a ---- :-\ Lets just hope the restrictor works.

did u reroute your pcv valve to a catch can? if not then your shoving boost pressure into your crank case and its causing massive blow by....hell its just one possibility...but i had the turbo smoking problem too...and i changed it out...and wala...no more smoking

Re:Dear God, make the smoking stop

No catch can, just a breather filter. But that would make my valve cover smoke not my exhaust. It's the turbo, I just don't know why.
